Nice games, Xmen scoring is weird, or we sucked, that game does not give points easily.
Playing the first games on a brand new LE game that i didnt have to buy was priceless..

Almost made it down to the arcade tonight, but Bank-Coil came by the shop with a buddy and we fixed all the cold solder joints on his Paragon power supply. GI OK now and plays reasonably well without coils cutting out irractically.
Will definitely make a trip downtown tomorrow night after doing a repair estimate on a CCM 1952 "Whiz Kids" woodrail in the waste island. Apparently this was the one that was used in the movie "Meatballs". What do I care, I just want to see this thing - looks like a weird one.

Here's something it might take a few games before you see, this was the only time we got it in like 30 games (and it is very shaky, sorry):

X-men LE light show is incredible. Finally hit night crawler after a couple hours and many credits... Just like the iceman ramp ... The LE toys are kinda 'meh' ... They seem like an after thought. With proper code and a way to play modes without first starting Magneto, this game could have some long legs. I'm kind of stumped as to why they shipped the game in beta state...where's the QC dept?
As for ACDC, I had more fun on the premium that I did with XMen.... I would strongly suggest Magneto sell me his pro and upgrade !

for the past couple of years Stern has done this at least once ... rush a machine out and basically beta test in public and then make good on the code (or sometimes make kinda good on the code) QC doesn't come into play

from over on pinside:
Just spoke to the director of Quality Control at Stern.......
His name is messy Marvin and he can't figure out what the heck everyone is complaining about
heh.. I guess should have clicked the right thread and post... anyway:
sure XMen has a great potential but.... it's an incomplete game atm... Stern foloed you into buying an incomplete product, that may or may be not fixed completly in time. On location... who cares.. pop some coin in it give it a few tries. But buying this for home in present state...

Yeah I am pissed at space & time constraints. I am fed up with not being able to make the time and muster up the energy to just go downtown, eat a Kojax burger with hot sauce, have a cold draft and then go play pinball at Terry's place while busting his balls for not having more pins in his arcade. Life sure has changed since 1983, oh well maybe it is for the best that we slow down in the later phases of life, it would look crazy if things stayed the same. Anyways, it was all just a fart in the wind looking back, but what a pleasant release of inner tension it was.

X-MEN Wolverine edition has now been updated at Amusement 2000 Plus on St.Cathy, thanks to movingpictures. Terry the arcade owner didn't know how to do it, and the SB guy is on vacation this week, so thanks Adam. I think your name is up on there now. Say no more.
